Migration weekend, 9–11 October 2026: Slack is offline for everyone while it moves to the Enterprise plan. Check the status page and the Slack Migration FAQ before writing to us.
Can’t get into the Mac Admins Slack? Whether you’ve lost access to your account, changed jobs and email addresses, or never received your invitation, we can help — no Slack login required.
Still signed in and just need to change your email address? You can do that yourself, no ticket needed.
Because the issue is that you can’t reach Slack, send us an email instead. Every message becomes a tracked support ticket, and a volunteer will get back to you.
To help us sort it out quickly, please include:
- The email address you use (or used) for the Mac Admins Slack
- Your display name on Slack, if you remember it
- A short description of the problem — e.g. “can’t sign in,” “didn’t get my invite,” or “need to change my email”
Changing your email address
If you can still sign in, you can change the email on your account yourself, for example when you change jobs. Use Slack in a web browser or the desktop app; the mobile app doesn’t offer it.
- Go to your account settings, or click your profile picture, choose Profile, open the three-dot menu and select Account settings.
- Next to Email address, click Expand, enter your new address and save.
- Slack emails a link to your new address. Your email changes once you click it, and Slack lets your old address know.
If you’re signed out and can no longer get into your old email, email us using the button above. A volunteer will check it’s really you, and can then move your account to your new address. Slack emails that address a link to confirm it.
Not locked out, just have a question?
If you can still reach Slack, the fastest place for general questions is the #macadminsfoundation channel. For anything else, use our contact page.
